Yes this is a COSTUME PARTY! And ok, we get it, dressing up like a bunch of Ole 1800s English Royalty sounds like a pain in the ass, but it's also not the end of the world. It's not like the British stole all of your cultural stuff, brought it "home" and displayed it their "Museums". Oh wait... ok maybe we understand why you might not want to dress up like the British! But our counter is... We met in London during our 40th birthday, we only turn 50 once and neither of us are British.
The costume theme is that of NETFLIX’s Bridgerton TV show. If you haven’t seen it, take a quick look and you’ll soon get the idea. As season II focuses on an Indian family participating in the “social season”, do feel free to wear traditional Indian formalwear, or any other formal attire associated with your culture.
As we reach the end of Halloween season, hopefully we can benefit from any surplus inventory. We also have some info on local LV professional costume shops and for-hire seamstresses.
Depending on the number of out of town guests we may try to get a room block here as it's the closet property to the birthday venue while still being on the strip. A beautiful upscale property with great restaurants and attractions. It has a Hilton, a Conrad and a Crockfords for varying pricing & luxory options.
All of these hotels are a 10-15 minute uber to the birthday venue. Ubers are super easy and quick to get here in Vegas. If we end up with a large group of people all staying in the same hotel perhaps we can book a shuttle. NO TAXIS PERMITTED. VERY LIMITED VALET PARKING. USE UBER OR LYFT
